Rajiv Agarwal, CEO and Director The MobileStore, India's largest national chain of multi-brand and multi-service telecom outlets has been honored with the prestigious“Retail Professional of the Year” award at the Star Retailer Awards 2008, held in New Delhi on Nov 30th ‘08
The Star Retailer Awards in their third year, brought together some of the best and biggest retail companies across the country, under one roof. The ceremony was a glittering event, attended by honorary dignitaries from the retail industry
The “Retail Professional of the Year” Award appreciated and recognized the leadership abilities of Mr. Agarwal for pioneering and driving the growth of organized Telecom Retail, in India, in a very short span of time, since The MobileStore was launched in March 2007.
On receiving the Award, Rajiv Agarwal said “I feel highly honored and happy to receive this prestigious award at the Star Retailer Awards. This award has recognized the efforts put in by the entire team of The MobileStore. It has also honored the efforts which we have taken to change the face of the telecom retail industry.”
The MobileStore, under the able leadership of Mr. Agarwal has set a benchmark in the retail sector by crossing the 1300 store mark across 200 cities in India. Their pan India presence has ensured quality service to millions of satisfied customers across the country.
Besides this, The MobileStore also won “The Durables Retailer of the year” award, 2nd time in two years. This award established the supremacy of The MobileStore brand as India's first national chain of multi-brand and multi-service outlets in the telecom retail space.
