Rupiz InfoTech, a leading global internet house is about to strike the terrain of online gaming in India. This flagship organization has expertise in the field of online finance, telecom, marketing, shopping and comparison services. They forayed in India with an online retail venture- RetailsDirect.com, which has been received very warmly by the leading brands associated with it as well as its ardently loyal customer base. Aiming high with quite a few ventures in varied sectors like online finance, retail, all-in-one communication and online gaming in the pipeline, Rupiz Infotech is set to penetrate the Indian market.

Co-founder and Director of Rupiz InfoTech, Rupinder Khurana is extremely confident of its online gaming venture. “It is an exclusive gaming portal”, he beams, “In fact, this is an exciting time to launch such a gaming portal. Worldwide gaming is estimated at $35 billion and the Indian industry is catching up rapidly. In spite of a few infrastructural concerns, there is no doubt that the market is here to jump over the moon!” The fact that India is a young nation with 54% of its population below 35 years of age, the correlation between accepting technology and fulfilling the need for entertainment through online gaming can be made quite strongly.

But are the concerns only infrastructural in nature? Not really. How about the traditional mindset of the Indian audience that gaming is a “ridiculous waste of time” and leads to “reclusive behaviour”? Good point, but apparently, they have it all figured out. Co- founder and Business head, Anand Krushnan wiggles a finger, “You will leave your job and start gaming with us! We will ensure that this is not a waste of your time. In fact, our gaming model will surge a whole new profession- gaming. You will be able to earn money just playing games.” Now that’s a new concept. By now I’m listening with rapt attention.

Furthermore, he explains that there will be dedicated sections for kids including academically- inclined games. Apart from this, they are also focusing on games in sync with women’s preferences.

It seems there is lot to innovate, but how will they do it? To deliver supreme quality games, they have a talented team of in-house developers. Additionally, they are in the process of tying up with various national and international gaming providers for their portal. How many tie- ups will they have eventually? Many!

It’s entertaining, engaging and rewarding at the same time.

“What’s the name of the gaming portal?”, I plead…Both the Co- founders exchange smiles and say, “Let the buzz catch on!
